Building owners + investors

Your architect and your structural engineer can solve most of the problems concerning your planned building. But the most important unknown is the subsoil, which is provided by you. What about: bearing capacity, different soil layers, ground water, contamination, seeping of rain water, inclined surface etc.? How does these questions influence the foundation and the sealing of the planned building? What about the costs?      
     
     
Please remark, that failures in foundation and sealing works mostly cause remarkable damages which are difficult (and expensive) to repair. You can avoid such trouble charging a geotechnical expert in time.
